6994th - Phu Cat

Phu Cat AB was located in the Bihn Dihn Province, about mid-way between An Khe and the coastal town of Qhi Nhon, and was the second operational base for Detachment 1 of the 6994^th SS after it moved there from Nha Trang AB. The detachment operated out of Phu Cat Air Base from 10 September 1969 until it was deactivated on 31 Oct 1971.
