Important Information
"Check out the site www.silverrose.org for a special award, the Order of the Silver Rose Award, created to honor those who are suffering diseases related to Agent Orange.
There is no money required to receive this award but you have to qualify with a letter from the VA saying your disease is from herbicide contact and your DD214.
I am receiving a 20% disability for my diabetes, which was proven to come from the effect of Agent Orange. I know of several of our members that are presently suffering from diseases related to exposure, as well as some that possibly have died from exposure as well.
If you read the mission and feel it appropriate, please pass on through the website. If not, please reply to me and I will pass on to the individuals that I know suffer.
This organization feels that all people who have known related diseases from Agent Orange, according to the VA , should receive the Purple Heart. The government has not responded to that request. However, they denied the Purple Heart for many years to those in previous wars who were disabled from mustard gas exposure, but now have changed their mind."
